Hi, my name is Bluebellsky78! signed daughters DLA into a trust during divorce. Can I do anything?

Hi,
I had a complicated divorced high conflict divorce and in the settlement I overlooked the decision to put my daughter's dla into a trust as my ex partner requested this. He is wanting to decide everything about any payment for our daughter and refuses very legitimate things for her such as therapies - which is what the DLA is for in the first place. Also setting up a trust would also costs several thousands. I suggested that instead of putting the money into a trust we split it. But he refuses. Is there anything I can do as I have stupidly signed the document ?

Hey @Bluebellsky78 and welcome to the community. 😊
I'm afraid that's not a situation I'd be able to advise on as we're not legally trained here. I'd suggest speaking to a solicitor about this. Sorry I cant be of any more help.
