Hi I have been on pip since 2016 standard on both .Iv had a couple of reviews but just light touch .so my pip was due a review in june2024 I got my forms in Nov 2023 I had my award extended till nexted year as there's a back log .on the 16th of Oct 2024 had my assessment by phone as things have changed and got worse .28th Oct I got a text saying the dwp have received my report .Iv received a letter this morning 13th Nov to say they now have all the information they need to decide if we can award pip now I'm worried as they might take it of me is this letter normal to receive

Hi @tez66 and welcome to the community! That is a normal text message to receive, please don't panic 😊 I know I'm telling you not to panic but know that I have felt the exact same way when I've received text messages like this 😂

I have received a copy of my report and looking at the points the assessment gave me are 9 diserblity and 12 for mobility can the dwp change that or do they go by what the assesser has recommend

The DWP Decision Maker usually goes along with the assessors report, but not always.

Hi after a year wait for my review and assessment call Iv received a text this morning to say my review is completed and I have to wait for 2 weeks for my letter.i have also got a copy of my report and kind of know what points Iv scored but I'm anxious about their decision is there anyway I can find out what I have been awarded before the letter this as been a long and anxious time for me I have been on standard for both for 6 years

The decision usually follows the assessment report, so that should give you some idea. Some people contact the automated PIP payment line, which tells them how much their next PIP payment will be. This can provide an indication, but it can also cause some anxiety as it is sometimes inaccurate. I hope your decision letter arrives soon so that you can relax.

Thankyou yes Iv phoned pip line and my next payment as gone up so it looks like full rate mobility and standard disability 🙏
