hi could I get some Help on when my lcwra payment will be?

I handed in my first fit note August 16th 2024 it’s been accepted for that date, my assessment periods are

28/08/2024 - 27-09-2024

28/09/2024 - 27-10-2024

28-10-2024 - 28/11/2024

28/11/2024 - 28-12-2024

My payment date is 3rd of every month so as it’s been 14 weeks since 16th august will I receive my first lcwra payment on the 3rd December 2024 or will it be 3rd January 2024?? Thanks

It will be 3rd January.

The LCWRA waiting period is 3 full assessment periods.

It is then added to payment on the 4th assessment period.

No, because the LCWRA element is not payable at all during the waiting period. This means when the decisions are fairly quick, no backpay is due.

The waiting period of 13 weeks applies to ESA and not to UC.
