3 months and a decision . It was a no 6 points and 0 for the other part . It’s fine I was expecting it . Never asked for report but but I can see on the notice I can debate it . What next? Part of me wants to do it myself the MR with out welfare rights help . I did find it frustrating that I couldn’t answer the way I wanted to when I got help with form . Overall the little report I can see about the decision there is nothing to upset me .

Oh I'm so sorry @Dendoo - I do hope you consider doing a MR. The following is I hope a little help:

Do put your MR in writing; a letter is fine.

Remember PIP is not about any diagnosis, but rather how your disability affects certain activities of daily living &/mobility the majority of the time. Have a look again at the activities/descriptors that are looked at:

    https://www.mentalhealthandmoneyadvice.org/en/welfare-benefits/pip-mental-health-guide/help-with-your-pip-claim/how-to-fill-in-the-pip-form/

With your MR you should say where you think you should have got points, & why giving a couple of recent, detailed examples as to the difficulty you face for each applicable descriptor, i.e. when did it happen, where, what happened, did anyone see this, & were there any consequences to attempting/doing an activity?

Say if you can't do an activity 'reliably,' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, repeat as often as one would reasonably expect, or if it takes you much longer than someone without a disability.

Put your name & National Insurance number on each page. Keep a copy, & get a free Certificate of Posting from your Post Office when sending it off.

Thank you for your reply appreciated. I’m not giving up . I’ve went 2 decades where I should have put in for this but was too scared of doing it . Until I’ve reached its time I can’t put off things are worse . I wasn’t expecting any points first tjme and all that but I

Did get 6 for daily living so there’s still

Hope . I should have got points for the other section too but got none . Will go for it but not giving up even if that means starting fresh again . I don’t think

I could cope with a tribunal at all but we shall see where I end up x

I'm glad you're not giving up @Dendoo, it's always worth going for appeal. I scored 0 at first but then went to tribunal and was awarded. @chiarieds has given some great advice there to help you 😊

You can do it yourself if you're able to. Get stuck in!
