Looking for places for 25 year old son with learning disabilities to socialise
Hi, I have a 25 year old son with learning disabilities. We are trying to find somewhere for him to make friends and/or socialise online and in person. Any advice would be welcome. We live pretty rural , roughly 39 min from Carlisle.
Thank you

Hi @Bina67
Welcome to the community!
Scope has a helpful page on where to make friends for disabled people with a lot of good information including links to friendship apps and websites.I had look through your Local Offer and found some sports groups if that is something you think son would enjoy!
ABLEize Disability - Sport Clubs and Social Groups in CumbriaCumberland Football Association
Carlisle Mencap seem to offer opportunities for people with learning disabilities to socialize through their groups as well as offering community support.
Hope this is helpful, please reach out if you have any more questions or would like further support!
