Pip Review
I know this has probably been asked before, and I apologise for bringing it up again. I receive the standard living rate for pip. I was due a review as my award runs out on the 23rd of December. Yesterday I received a letter saying this has been extended for 12 months as the review has not been completed. The thing is my health has got worse and in December 2022 I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease PBC which has had a serious impact on my ability to complete the daily tasks within the activity descriptors. My question is do I leave things as they are, request a mandatory reconsideration or start a new claim. Any advice greatly appreciated.

You can’t request the MR because a decision hasn’t been made on your review yet.
There’s no point in reporting changes because the form for your review has already been sent. Hopefully a decision won’t be too much longer.
