Lcwra backpack help!

in Universal Credit (UC)

Hi. I've been awarded lcwra from 15.11.24. I sent my ESA50 from off on the 14.02.24. I was already in the work related activity group. Migrated to UC in September. They are saying they are awarding lcwra only from 15.11.24 and not 14.02.24. Am I right in thinking this shouldn't be the case and that I should be backdated to 14.02.24? That's when I sent in all evidence etc.

Any help much appreciated

    If you triggered the review by reporting a change in health (alongside submitting Fit Notes) then it will be backdated to that date.

    If the DWP initiated the review, then the decision backdates to the Assessment Period in which the LCWRA is a awarded.

    Thanks for that info. I did ring them in December 23 and sent an esa50 form to them as my condition had gotten worse. They received that jan 24. Then I was sent another esa50 form which I sent back 14.02.24.
