🎄 Hello there, I was wondering if anyone can help please. On the 6/2/23 I was awarded LCW. Later that year I was diagnosed with further health issues and on the 21/12/23 I made a 2nd application for LCWRA it has now been 11 months and Im going round in circles without any resolution despite multiple attempts to trace the progress of my application. My work coach continue to tells me they are waiting to hear back and when I contact the Health Assessment Centre they say its live and they will add a note on my application 🎄

It would be the Health Assessment Provider you need to deal with at this stage.

The DWP are waiting to hear the outcome from them, so it is out of your work coaches hands.

You could try a formal complaint with the HAP.

Hello thank you for your advice. I havnt' had the 2nd assessment yet. My concern is that the process seems to be delayed and Im unsure whether they can process my application without further assessment ( speaking with me ) My 2nd application included my full diagnosis and necessary forms/evidence. Do I need to attend/speak with them before my application can move forward.

You don't need to speak to them to move the process forward.

As they don't seem to have made any progress with your case after such a long wait, that is an avenue for a formal complaint. It might just get things moving as they should.

I do know there are many others that are still waiting for an assessment 12 months after returning their UC50 form.
