Hi all... just want to know is Fluoxetine an anxiolytic medication?

Fluoxetine is an SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). It's primarily an anti-depressant though it does get prescribed for anxiety as well. It's better known as Prozac.

Thank you..in my pip report they said there are no anxiolytic medications prescribed. At the time I was on diazepam..fluoxetine, gabapentin. Alot of my report is so wrong with what she reported.

Today my medication was changed... should I wait till I receive an assessment or should I just send a letter to dwp to send to Ingeus

I suggest asking your GP for a print out of your medication for that time and enclosing it with a brief letter to PIP.
