hi ive just got a letter for a telephone interview compliance one i haven't been on universal credit for a year now i did take an advance which i owe will this be about that i'm so nervous i've been poorly lately as well so i don't really know what it's about

    You need to be available for that appointment. If you don’t then you could end up owing everything you received. It’s unlikely to be about the advance payment, it will be about the claim itself at the time. (Assuming it’s about UC)

    You can try ringing the number on the letter and ask what it’s about and they maybe able to give you some information.

    even if i haven't had universal credit for a year i did owe money from an advance and tax credits when i was on that i thought it was that

    Yes even from a year ago. They wouldn’t usual do a compliance interview for an advance payment.

    Did the letter specifically say it’s a compliance interview? They are doing lots of reviews for people currently claiming UC and for those that were claiming it that no longer do so. These are not specifically compliance interviews.
