Awarded disability element and my TP has reduced, does this still seem correct?

hi, recently moved to UC Oct, from esa severe disability group, I received LCWR and TP of £231.46. In Nov my son was granted DLA notified UC of change, my December statement shows still getting same as above with Disibility element of £156.11 however my TP has reduced to £39.88 meaning my two monthly payment in Dec have also reduced by £10 of a difference from Nov statement? Does still seem correct ? Thanks in advance x

Changes in circumstance such as becoming entitled to a new element reduces the Transitional Protection, which is correct.
Are you satisfied that your TP has reduced by the correct amount for child disability element?

am not sure what it should be as I am new to this ? First statement was £231 TP new statement is £39 TP and the disibility element is £156 does this seem right to you ? I’m getting mixed advise as one part of UC are saying realistically it’s not a change as the DLA was awarded on the 12 Sept and I didn’t join UC until 15 Oct and that the TP should remain the same, as this is what I would have been on payment wise with ESA severe disibility group. Someone else says because it’s within the 1 month period of me going to UC and notified them within the month my TP shouldn’t be effected ? Basically getting the child disability element has left me worst off as statement about my Dec is £20 of a difference. Thanks for your help it’s all so confusing.
