Pip.letter
This is driving me mad. After relieved a text last Wednesday from Dwp saying that they have received report etc and haven't made a decision.I have now got a letter to confirm that this and that they will write to me when they have made a decision. It says there are other benefits that that I may be able to get etc such as Esa council tax reduction. But I've also got the letter from New style Esa now to say this benefit is ending so I've no idea what is going on and why I was put on this in the first place?.

Yes they very often send a letter as well as a text for PIP. All of them are standard texts and letters.
For your ESA are you in the Support Group? If so then this doesn’t end after one year, it continues for as long as you remain entitled to it.
It only ends if you’re in the work group or if you haven’t yet had a decision on your work capability assessment.

Thank you Poppy.I am in the Support group yes and have been for over 15 years or more.I migrated to U.c and then got told I was also on.New style Esa.U.c are saying that I should only be on U.c and that I should've contacted Esa.But I didn't contact them because that money was being deducted from the U.c anyway. But now this letter says that the New Style Esa is ending.I am absolutely exhausted by all of this back and forth.

Very odd. Your ESA will not end because you’re in the Support Group,
When did you migrate to UC? I’m wondering if that’s a standard letter that was sent advising that it ends after one year, I believe that this letter is sent out for new claims.
If you haven’t yet rang them then I’d advise you to do that.

I migrated in October and it was confusing from the word go.Nobody from either department could confirm whether I was supposed to be on either u.c or New style Esa.Esa said I was supposed to be on U.c but they had sent the letter out in error but I've received both since October.U.c have had me sign commitments but nothing from Esa and no letters of amounts etc just payments automatically into my bank account.U
