looking to move from south east to London will all my benefits stop ? I don’t know how it’ll all work
from portsmouth to London.
Hello @DollyDolly29. No, moving from Portsmouth to London should not impact your benefits. If you receive the housing element of UC, the amount may change depending on your new rent.
You will need to report the change to both PIP and UC once you move.
I get LCWRA , PIP and uc and housing element , so all I have to do is when I move just say new address and the amount , so nothing else will change and I won’t lose anything will I
LCWRA is part of UC. Once you’ve moved you will need to log into your journal if you have access to one and report a change of circumstances. Then click “where you live and what it costs” then report it through there.
For PIP you will just need to ring them to report your new address. Don’t forget also about council tax reduction.
The value must be greater than or equal to 1.
