Hi, my name is james1982! Should I be waiting this long for my LCWRA payment?

hi just need some advice as I was awarded lcwra on June 20th 2024 but have still not received any payment for this although we are now in mid December, should I be waiting this long and would there be any back payment, any advice would be appreciated

That is certainly longer than usual to be waiting - was the decision definitely LCWRA, and not LCW?

no I was originally on lcw but then was advised to apply for lcwra this then went to a tribunal and I was awarded lcwra back in June

Do you claim UC with a partner, who themselves get LCWRA?

Did you have any Transitional Protection on the claim prior to June?

Any change in your UC Statements since the award?

No I don’t claim with a partner, I didn’t have any transitional protection either and no changes in my uc statement either

All I can think of to suggest is adding a note to your Journal, asking why the LCWRA awarded in June hasn't been put into payment.

As you went from LCW to LCWRA this means there is no waiting period, and you were entitled to LCWRA from the date of the decision.

Are you 100% sure that the Tribunal decision was LCWRA? Please double check the decision letter from the Tribunal.
