Are you still getting New Style ESA £276.40 a fortnight?.

Did you receive the SDP with your old ESA?

Sometimes the first statement is incorrect.

With such a small payment there are obviously deductions, do you have access to a UC Journal to view your statement?

I'd guess one of those might be for New Style ESA, have you had any ESA paid into your bank account in the last few weeks?

Hopefully he will be back soon and can help you sort it out.

I suspect you are still getting ESA, the ESA amount is deducted from UC payment.

I get New Style ESA and my income is topped up with around £200 a month UC.

    Hi @shrinkydink I hope you're doing ok?

Fingers crossed your welfare worker is back today!

But if not, I've seen other users have said they find telephone the fastest route to contacting DWP. I've added some details below that will hopefully will be helpful.

    To discuss an existing claim:

Jobcentre Plus for the UK (except Northern Ireland)

    Telephone: 0800 169 0310
    Textphone: 0800 169 0314
Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 169 0310
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
    Welsh language: 0800 328 1744
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

I hope the above does help, but if you need anything else please let me know.

    Best wishes,

    Holly.

my support worker still isnt back but today i had what i presume is the full months money was put in my account today. im just not sure now if that includes rent money as last week my support worker requested my rent is paid directly, so still unsure how much im actually getting and if i need to pay rent out of it.

Do you have access to a journal? If you do then you will be able to log into that and see your statement. On there will tell you all the elements you’re entitled to as well as any Transitional Protection and any deductions.
