Should I recived a uc50 form
Hi, I have recently been awarded lcwra and have been using this site to help work out any backdated money.
But then I came across a question about being backdated for 2 years.
I went onto uc in 2020 reported health conditions that restricted my work
2022 I sent in sick notes twice for 3 months with breaks
2024 I sent in sick note and because I was working and my hours reduced it triggered a uc50
But My question is
should I have not been sent one when I either started my claim or when I sent in sick notes for 3 months even with the break
If is there some way of claiming back
Also how do I find out what group I was placed in between 2020-2022
if it was lcw group should I have had uc50 form anyway.
And can I at least make a complaint if nothing else
as I feel now after doing lots of research I should of been sent a uc50 the work coach failed to advise me on this and I could Of been in the right groupp in the first place
I'm apologise for the questions
I am neurodivergent

In 2020 when you report your health conditions did you provide a fit note for that? If you didn't then you wouldn't have been referred for a work capability assessment.
In 2022 when you provided fit notes for 3 months, why did you stop sending them? If you weren't referred then it was very likely because you had gaps in your fit notes.
If no referral was made for both of those years then no assessment took place so no decision would have been made. If you were working and earning more than 16 x National Minimum Wage (NMW) per week then unless you're claiming a disability benefit you wouldn't have been able to be referred anyway.
When you report a health condition, you're supposed to provide a fit note and then continue to provide them without any gaps right up until a decision is made on your WCA.
Based on the information you've given because of the lack of fit notes then this is what the issue was. Are you now continuing to provide fit notes since the first one in 2024? If you haven't and you're found to have LCWRA then it can affect when the extra money is paid. There must be no gaps.

Thank you. I was just confused. I have lcwra and told I don't need to provide sick notes.
I just think they are very sneaky in not giving everyone all the information. If I had known then I would of provided the sick notes. Not one person in the job centre tells you this, my first work coach was so bad I had to change.
But at least I'm getting the lwcra now.
ThanThank you you for Clarifying things for me
