universal credit council tax ?

hello I migrated to universal credit a couple of months ago from sea support group that part is sorted I have read online that I have to inform council tax as will have to pay from now is this right do I need to contact them I just thought it would automatically inform them x

They should automatically be informed that you've now claimed UC. To be on the safe side you should report this to them just incase.
All local Authorities have their own rules for Council Tax reduction and claiming UC doesn't always mean you will have to pay some council Tax.
