Usually about 8 months before so I would say April time.

On a 10 year ongoing award, do they always do a review or are there cases where this is not necessary? I've heard that it's a shortened form version. What's the best advice on how to complete as it's not as detailed as the original application form I believe?

If it’s a light touch review you can see the form here
How to fill it out? Well, there’s been absolutely no feedback from anyone that’s had one of those reviews and for this reason it’s difficult to advise.
Normally for all PIP reviews we recommend treating them as a new claim but I don’t know if this would apply to this. @starlight33
