My P.I.P Desision

I was due to have my pip reviewed last November 2024 but they sent me a text saying it was extended until next November due to backlogs I assume. Iv'e had a text message from them today saying theyv'e made their desision and i'll get a letter within 2 weeks explaining the outcome of the review. Is it normal not to have an assessment or to be asked any further questions? I can't read into it if this is a good thing or a bad thing that it's been done so quickly and I assume it was paperbased this time. Have anyone else had their reviews decided this way and was the outcome positive?

You will have had a paper based assessment. In my own personal experience my last 2 reviews were paper based with an award both times. It doesn't mean it's negative.
Although the text advises you not to ring them you can ring them anytime to ask what the decision was and they will tell you.

Thanks poppy, I took your advice and rang them about the desision, the lady on the phone was really nice and very helpful!! She told me they're not supposed to tell you by phone incase it's a negative outcome as some people get a bit shirty about things. As mine was a positive desision she told me I would be getting the same amount but for a longer period of 4 years, my initial award was for 2 years, so i'm happy with the outcome as it could have been worse.
