Cat/ Mri scans....Agraphobia , severe anxiety.
Morning, my Xmas was spent recovering from an attempt at a Cat scan on 23rd Dec. Got about a foot in when despite diazapan full on fight to get out. Are there any protocols on issues like this?
Undiagnosed bulging and displaced discs found in 2016 by an open style scanner ( incident 1992). Two procedures and every med you can think of no relief from the pain. New pain clinic consultant wants fresh scan. Is there anyone out there who has had similar issues?

Hi Zig sorry to hear about your experience with MRI they are horrid. I was feeling uncomfortable when I had one. Have you considered asking your doctors and radiographers if they would consider using hypnosis for your MRI some in the profession are open minded about hypnosis. You could try alternative medicine, many drugs started in this area originally, as herbs and plants, then refined by drug companies.
Hope you find something to help!1 -
Hi, thanks for your advice and comments. My carer is trying to join two Consultants to act together I.e a Phycologist and a Surgeon to make a plan. I also have Lesions on the Cerebellum which can't be touched. After a long time quality of life for me is getting rubbish but we will investigate your suggestions.
Thank you.
Regards
