hi all this is my first post so not sure how to go about this.

I had a severe injury just over 2 years ago and injuries 2 limbs. I have had multiple operations and been in and out of work on sick leave. My 4th operation was nearly 3 months ago however the outcome hasn’t been what we expected. I have now been left with severe disability in one of my limbs. I am due to go back to work however I do not believe o am going to be able to complete my role or an alternative due to this. I’m really not wanting to go down ill health retirement but think this might be my last resort. Any help appreciated.

Hi @Claybee1907 welcome to the forum

Sorry to read about your injuries, have you been referred to oc health through work? Have you spoke to your manager how you are struggling and if anything could be put in place to make it easier for you

I’ve been seen by occupational health approx 17 times over and due to see them again next week for a follow up post surgery so hoping to get some more information from them. Im under physio and consultant at the specialist hospital. I think work think my operation was magically going to correct it all but it wasnt that simple
