Refund UC

Hello
I've just received over £600 refund for a future holiday I've had to cancel, due to being too unwell to go. Am I correct in thinking I don't need to inform UC as this won't be seen as income ?
I'm worried about not doing the right thing.
Thank You

You are correct it is treated as capital, not earnings. If your capital is less than £6,000 you will not need to report it.
