I recently went back to work (hurray) part time 5-10 hours a week as a home carer the company understand my needs are helping me which is great, I rang esa and told them they said they would send me out a Pw1 form I think the name is anyway I’ve received a ESA capability form instead it states to send it back the date on the letter enclosed (but there was no letter or date) have they sent the wrong form or is this my renewal because I’m back to work? I tried ringing twice yesterday and both times was on hold nearly 1 hour and it’s closed today … I’m worried because if it’s a renewal I don’t know what date it needs returning thanks everyone for help in advance x

There should be a letter with it. I don’t know how they could have sent the wrong form because they would need to make referral for the work capability assessment before the forms can be sent.

Who did you try to ring? It’s only Tuesday so whether it’s ESA or the assessment providers they shouldn’t be closed. You can find out here who does the assessments in your area if you don’t know. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/find-your-health-assessment-provider

thanks nope there was no letter, and when I rang yesterday the automated machine said the lines wouldn’t be open today so I tried anyway and yep it wasn’t open I’ll try again tomorrow
