Pip change of circumstances

Hi been waiting sometime now for a response to my pip review( 8 months ) they've txt me twice to say it's still being progressed what does this mean also I haven't reported a change as i totally forgot to do about having a carer will this affect my pip claim

Hi,
That text means exactly what it says. Your forms are still waiting in the queue. Unfortunately there are large backlogs at the moment which means most people have to wait for several months.
There's no need to report having a carer to PIP. It will not affect your claim.
It may help you score the appropriate amount of points for some of the descriptors so it would be worth mentioning if you have a verbal assessment in future.
