Hello everyone, I have ongoing health issues and have been fast tracked for an operation with an overnight stay. I work p/t and I expect to be signed off sick to recover for about 4 weeks. I receive lwrc , pip and the housing element of U/c.Do the dwp need to be informed of my coming operation and if so why? How would this affect payment? I feel so stressed with it all, everyday is a struggle. Would really appreciate any advice.

With LCWRA you have no work commitments, which would be the only reason UC need to know you are in Hospital.
So in my opinion no need to inform them.
I didn't report anything last year when I had a 3 day stay.
