Work capability assessment

Hi I've been placed in the in the incability work group I don't need sick notes I e just been paid today I didn't get any extra money on today so I've rang up today they said I've been awarded it from 24 October 2024 I won't receive any extra money which will be 412 until march he said I'm not entitled to any back money is this correct

Hi @nellyjames1996, LCWRA has a three month waiting period. Have you handed any sick notes in at all can I ask? If so, do you remember when you handed in your first sick note?
Hopefully we can help figure out when you should have been entitled to the payments and if March is the correct date or not.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
What date did you report the health condition?
What date was your first Fit Note?
Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?
Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA, have Transitional Protection on your claim or receive Carers Element in your name?
Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?
