PIP Change of circumstances.

Hey all, I can't find a topic in the forums that really match my question so here goes. I rang DWP to change circumstances on my PIP to inform them my condition over the phone, I gave the operator on the other end of the phone a description of what had changed with my disability. She then said she will be sending out a form, is this a new claim form or just a form for me to elaborate what has changed.
Because I don't think I could fill in another lengthy claim form. I have been on PIP since Sep 2023 and not due to be reviewed again till September 2026.
Many thanks.

It's the full form you'll need to fill out again I'm afraid. Treat it as a new claim when you answer the questions.

When you ring to report changes they usually send another form to fill in and return, they are not just going to take information from you and give a higher award. You also need to be very careful when reporting those changes because a worsening of condition doesn't automatically entitle you to more points for a higher award.
Once the review is completed and a decision is made your award could either remain the same, be decreased, increased or stopped completely.
You can try ringing PIP to ask to cancel the changes you reported.
