who do I get in contact with over money being taken out of my pension without a letter from who is taking it and why

Hi @crissi12, welcome to the community. Is this a private pension or a state pension?
With private pensions, getting in touch with your provider might be the best option.
If it's a state pension, it may be worth getting in touch with them to see if they can clarify what's happened:
