Hi, my name is Elephant! Need a copy of my PIP award, but phonelines are busy. Any advice?

I need a copy of my PIP award letter for the council as proof of my income for a house exchange, I’ve been on the phone to DWP to ask for one but I gave up waiting after nearly 2 hours for an answer,

    You can sometimes get a more prompt answer on the phone, if you ring up soon after they open at 9am.

    Hi @Elephant, welcome to the community. Unfortunately the phonelines do get quite busy. Kimmy's suggestion to ring as early as possible might be worth a go. Hope you can get through soon!
