Hi, my name is Sooze! Anyone have experience of mnd/als after infected blood?

We are wondering, as a family of a mum who was given infected blood in 1973, treated with interferon for a year in 2006/7 and was then diagnosed with mnd/als shortly after and died. Has anybody else n here had a similar experience with mnd/als following the events?

I'm afraid I don't have experience of this myself, but I hope you find some members who can offer some experiences soon.
