Can my husband claim carers allowance when he has a private pension of £500 per month

Hubby retired in Nov 2025, after the new financial year can he claim carers allowance for me, I'm on standard PIP. He has a private pension of £500 per month

    If he only gets the private pension, then he can claim Carers Allowance.

    If he recieves a State Pension then he will not be eligible.

    As people getting State Pension cannot also claim Carers Allowance.
