Universal credit review .

Selling items on Ebay are not going to be a crime while claiming Universal credits.

My sister works for the DWP.

I am claiming and I have a spine disease.

You can sell items per year that do not succeed the amount of £1000.

For example I sold £1267.00 in 1 year but fees and Postage costs rounded this to £1000 or maybe a few pounds over.

My review is still in process I have been literally been i ragged to bits .

All banks were entered and tins of worms opened due to my spending and selling etc.

Sent huge amounts of statements in and then due to spending i have had to send more evidence etc.

Made myself very poorly over this and I have PTSD and diabetes with insulin and huge amount of meds .

I stopped using some mods and I erdosed on others by mistake and was was found not living nearly due to the interrogation.

Not slept for 3 months now lostt 4 stone nearly and was only 18.5 stone at 6.5ft

Not eaten properly or left the house to socialise etc.

Awaiting a letter ! X Mitary 53 years old 3 kids .

Might have to just leave British soil if I get any problems as I no longer believe in the Great British flag.

Not Great this place any more !

Awaiting letter

Watch this space folks !

Hi and a very warm welcome to the community.

I can empathise with what you say about maybe leaving British soil.

If I were younger and in better health I would move away too.

Hi @Mikeelvis2871, welcome to the community. I'm really sorry you're having a rough time with your review, that doesn't sound easy at all. We've popped you an email today so please look out for that 😊

I've sold about £800 worth of items on ebay this year. (Unless it goes by the tax years from April?) I'm also concerned about the impact of selling anything else on UC, or with the HMRC, though I do have a few more items that could be sold.

What are UC specifically objecting to? Are they suggesting that you're earning money from a business rather than selling your own items?
