Work capability assessment under scrutiny

Hi

Im currently on lwc and not on the monthly payment part. Last july my condition changed mental health my dr gave me a sick note and I filled in a uc50 form. Up till now ibe had no information why my claim taking so long for as new assessment. My case manager rang me today said my case still with the health professional and is under scrutiny and they are waiting for more information from my gp I'm so anxious does anyone know what this means please

It means that they are re-assessing you and have requested more information from your GP to support your claim. You could speak to your GP and see if they have received or responded to the request.

As Emilee has said, it'[s nothing to panic about, it just sounds like you reporting the change in condition has triggered the DWP reassessing your claim. It's nothing too sinister. 😊

I know I sent off all medical evidence too including reports etc from professional people
