this has made me angry because I thought I was entitled to a MC regardless of the outcome

    Hi, so I was awarded my LCTWA at the end of Feb, as I said in my previous post, they removed my total CE from my TP. I requested a Mandatory Reconsideration, both on my account and I also found an online letter regarding the recent court case (I forget the details) which I posted. As i hadn’t heard back I messaged them for an update and the response I had has me gobsmacked and so anxious and angry I don’t know where to turn. They now want me to pay back ALL of the CE that I’ve had since last July, amounting to almost £1200. HELP!!

    I think they have stuffed up personally, I'd recommend you seek help from a trained benefits advisor via local welfare rights

    Always make sure to remove your personal details before posting your letters on a public forum. You've just doxxed yourself. The mods likely won't take this post down till tomorrow.

    @trace67, I thought you may have been in a state when posting, I've reported your post so that one of the mods can edit it for you. I hadn't scrolled down as far as you last line, where you said about it.

    thank you holly. I hardly slept, i’m actually in agony this morning due to the stress😨. I fear i may have jumped the gun a bit, but i was so upset i put in an appeal to the tribunal straight away last night. I feel if they keep just passing me off with the standard replies and not doing the MR as I have a right to request(i think), the time frame will lapse and nothing will get done. Today I’m going to find out who my local MP is and see if I can get some involvement from them to help with this 🤔
