hi I’m currently receiving disability living allowance and housing benefit and esa I’m due to inherit money from a friend that sadly died it could be 40,000 will I not be able to receive any of my benefits

Your Housing Benefit will stop, as will any Income Related ESA. DLA isn't affected.
