I'm currently in the support group for ESA and claiming Housing Benefit. Got the letter telling me to claim Universal Credit yesterday. I have up to June to make a claim. Given recent events, my question is do you think I should claim now or wait until June? Thoughts?
Thanks.

The Green Paper release yesterday was stage one in a very long process (years).
If your ESA includes the Severe Disability Premium, it might be beneficial to wait until Aprils rise has taken effect, so your Transitional Protection is a little bit more.
Another member calculated it at just over +£200.
