Car Insurance Quotes

Hello. Has anyone had this issue with car insurance comparison sites providing a decent quote, where you are directed to the provider of that quote, but the date of driving test passed is incorrect for some reason, and when you correct it there you have to go through the entire qoutation process again on the providers site, the result of which is a much more expensive quote?

I checked my details on the comparison site and everything is correct.

I phoned the insurance provider with my quote reference and they changed the driving test passed date to the correct date and gave a new quote which was only £3 more instead £100 when i changed it online, so contacting them directly might be the best option if anyone is ever in the same situation.
