Hello, I receive ESA income related, with the severe disability rate. I have just received the Universal Credit letter to migrate over. With all the cuts to benefits recently, will I be classed as a 'new' Universal Credit claimant? And will I loose out? Thank you for any help.

No changes are happening before UC migration is completed (letters arriving up until December, with legacy benefits ending a few months later).

AsAs long as you migrate before final deadline your be seen as a continuous claim not a new claim
