Migration to uc from esa wrag

Evening long post so i apologise my wife and I migrated over to universal credit last week had id check today and we went to get an advance but it came back that I was never on esa before the move i was on the wrag so the advance was lower than we expected so does that mean I'm not getting the extra payment for being on esa before i moved and if so what should I do if they say I have to do work commitment thanks for reading

Did your ESA claim begin before or after April 2017?

Before started esa in 2015

Okay, it takes time for ESA to confirm your status with UC.
This means until the LCW element has been confirmed the monetary amount won't show in the available advance.
With LCW you are expected to do work preparation activities and engage with a work coach, although you can't be forced to apply for jobs.

My wife has just got an appointment with work coach on Monday saying she has to agree the work commitment but she cares for me she doesn't get carers allowance or anything should she claim carers allowance or is it to late to apply ?? We put on the journal that she cares for me so don't understand why she had to go in sorry for so many questions

I see from a previous post you get PIP.
Does that include Daily Living?

There is no financial gain to claiming Carers Allowance as it is deducted in full from UC.
She can get Carers Element under UC, and this will remove any work related commitments.
This is currently £198.31, rising to £201.68 for your next full assessment period.
If you haven't already, log into your Journal, report a change, caring for someone, and let them know she is caring for you.
Then add a Journal note asking if your wife has to attend the appointment as she is a carer.
It might be that she needs to attend once to get all the commitments turned off.
