New Style ESA query

Hi there, just looking for some clarification please ☺️ I have been in receipt of New Style ESA (contribution based), since 03/04/24. On the letter it states they can only pay me this until 03/04/25, so received my last payment on Friday.
I had my WCA on 27/03/25 & had a text message from DWP on 01/04/25 to say they have the report & will write to me with the outcome.
If I am waiting for some time will I continue to get the ESA payment or has this now stopped?
I usually get £181 fortnightly but my last payment Friday was only £155.15.
Also, if I am put in the support group, will payments be backdated to 14th week even though it is contribution based ESA?
Its all very confusing 🫤

Your New Style ESA has now ended because you've reached the end of one year without a WCA placing you into the Support Group.
If you are put into the Support Group, payments should resume and be backdated to the 14th week of your claim.

@Kimi87 Will my payments be backdated to when my ESA claim started or from when I sent my fit note in to UC? I notified UC in Nov 2023 that I had a change in health from September 6th 2023 & have been supplying fit notes with no gaps since this time?

If you are put into the Support Group for ESA, then as advised payment will backdate to week 14 following your ESA claim.

So it goes from when my ESA claim started not when I declared my health change & started submitting fit notes?

For New Style ESA payment would backdate to week 14 of your claim.
This should give you LCWRA on a corresponding date for UC, although I'm not 100% sure on that one.
