Decision Delays
Hi All,
I sent my completed extension form in on December 27th via special delivery to ensure that they received it. To date all I've received is one text last month to say that it is awaiting assessment and decision.
Has anyone else had the same response?
In the meantime my PIP-Double High Rate continues, but I am very unsettled by this, especially with the news stating that the benefit is undergoing major changes.
I was affected by the virus, and lost function of one lung as well has have scarring of the pericardium and on my heart. I also have mobility issues due to an assault in 2012 that shattered one of my femurs and hip. So you see, I'm really dependent upon PIP and fear losing it.
Any productive thoughts would be welcome.

Seems standard, reviews are taking around a year to complete.
If your end date is approaching and they haven't made a decision, you'll receive a letter around 35 days before extending your existing award for a further year.
