will closing my pip claim stop ESA?
I can’t take it anymore, they’ve accessed my medical records without permission. The MH worker has lied on my records. I’m suicidal over it all, I just can’t take it. I was due a phone reassessment yesterday that was cancelled by dwp at 15 minutes notice, they’ve rearranged a f2f miles away on 23/4. I just can’t do it anymore.
the pip debacle has left me completely hopeless and drained, the mh worker lying has left me looking like a faker. She’s put so much on my record, saying I make good eye contact, so signs of neglect when I had dark glasses on was shaking, crying, hadn’t washed in a week or more. I can’t cope. :’( I’ve had enough

No, stopping your PIP claim won’t stop your ESA though you might lose some money if you live alone and get the severe disability allowance.
But, please phone the assessment company and ask for your appointment to be by phone as a reasonable adjustment. They are supposed to be ok with this. If possible would your GP back you up in requesting a phone assessment as you’re in distress?

I wouldn’t worry too much about what the MH worker has put on your medical records - they all put stuff like you have described. Sometimes my letters from psych to my GP would seem to bear no resemblance to my actual appointment! I have good eye contact with my GP and am fluent because she has been my GP for a long time and I trust her.
