hi. I was made redundant at 63. I am on PIP enhanced mobility and standard for care. I applied for ESA online. I now have a phone appointment to agree a commitment for new style ESA.
my online .gov account already has me down for ESA at the support group rate.
what should i expect please. Thank you0 -
Hi @suzannet, welcome to the community. The commitment phone call is usually to agree what you will need to do while they sort everything out with your claim. People in the support group don't need to look for work or prepare for work, so you usually won't need to agree to do any work searches. You might also be invited for a health assessment to check you're in the correct group, but they should let you know if this is something that applies to your case and what the next steps would be.
Hope the call goes okay ☺️
