PIP - when will they pay me?
hi everyone I received a text saying I been awarded PIP and 2 weeks to receive the letter .
My question is I claimed on the 25th 26th March , according to my assesment report it should be enhanced . Does anyone know when they will pay me or any back date payment is owed ? Obviously it’s in the letter , I tried to call PIP and they are close , thank in advance.

That's a super quick award decision!
You will receive backpay dating to when you phoned up to claim. Often this backpay arrives before the letter.

thank you kimi would I expect the money in my account within 3-5 days not including bank holidays ?, I provided them a lot of evidence , a doctors letter , friends letter , brief gp summary and my Limited work capability assessment report . I did not need any assessments . I was very informative how my conditions affect me not just the diagnosis itself . I also showed them bank statements off me sending money to my brother daily as I can’t shop on my own . So to those who are wondering , to speed up PIP or for a fair trial you need to show a lot of evidence and how it affects your life . Hope the people that are genuinely eligible gets rewarded with PIP :)

Ah you had what's known as a paper based assessment. This is where the assessor feels they have enough information to make a decision, with minimal or no further input from the claimant.
It was still a quick decision!
I'd allow about 5 working days yes to receive the money, the two bank holidays will slow things down.
