Housing benefits and pip

Good afternoon
Can I just ask for some information please , my son is 18 and works full time and I claim pip incaple to work and UC housing benefits also I have a son on pip too , I have told the local council my son works and they’ve seen a few wage slips , I messaged uc saying he works , does the council share information with dwp ? My son was on uc and he got a job pretty much straight away through the jobcentre, my son hasn’t been charged for any rent at all is this correct , thankyou

As you get PIP (I'm assuming Daily Living) no non dependant deductions will be made to your UC Housing Element.
Council Tax Reduction is decided on at a local level, so it's very hard to advise on individual cases from here.
