How long after u get the decision to be awarded, does the back payment come through?

    Which benefit are you talking about, and how was it awarded- new claim/review/MR/tribunal hearing?

    Assuming you mean LCWRA, for any backpay to be calculated and paid takes at least a few weeks.

    You'll know when this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal stating the amount owed. Payment will be then follow within a few working days.

    Please note if the decision was LCW no extra money is paid.
