council tax support advice

Hi, can anyone please provide me with some advice. I have been told to claim council tax support and been on the turn2us website and it also says we are entitled, but would like to know if anyone has been through this process.
My daughter who is 28 lives with us. She works but lives with me and my wife to help care for me. Even though she works it still says we are entitled to council tax discount. But I am not sure of the process. I am not sure what evidence and information I need to give to the council and would be grateful if anyone can walk me through their experience.

Hi @happyman I hope you're doing ok? The best way to find out is to contact your local council directly. You can do this and find out if your eligible here - Apply for a Council Tax discount - GOV.UK
I've also added a link here - Council Tax reduction for disabled people | Disability charity Scope UK to our page which might give you some extra information too.
Hopefully other members who have similar circumstances can shed some light from their experiences in due course ☺️
Best wishes,
