flyte not loading up the lamps even with a full charge

have a flyte which works fine till I try loading it up the ramps. I have fully charged the scooter and after about a 5 mile trip it will only go half way up the ramps. Battery shows 12.4 volts

    Hi,

    Battery voltage can be misleading. If the battery has broken down inside, it can show fully charged, but then not be able to produce all of the current needed to pull up a ramp for example.

    Do you know how old the battery is? Was that reading taken while on charge?

    If it's not the battery, it could be the motor wearing out, but that is less likely in my opinion.
