Calling DWP To Get Decision. Will they give me my award decision over the phone?

HI, Just in regards to some people saying you can call up to check the outcome of the award, on the text it says they wont give you the decision over the phone is that correct or will they actually give you the decision if you call up

    Are you talking about PIP?

    Despite what the text says you can ring and ask.

    They don't always give the information out over the phone though, I've seen quite a few refusals over the last few months, alongside others who are told.

    Hey there @JohnPrior and welcome to the community.

    As Kimi has said, sometimes they'll tell you over the phone, other times they wont. It's very much a lottery.
