I recently was manage migrated over to UC from ESA support group and upon receiving the first statment and payment that no Transitional protection or LCWRA elements were on my statment :- Over a week ago I contacted "payment" via journal and told them I noticed this was missing and got a reply of "they will send it to specialist team" as of yet nothing has been added or any extra payment made.

My situation is I was on IR ESA support group and my husband is on CB ESA support group, as we both claim pip we were given SDP about 5 years ago, nothing has changed at all . which is what I was told in beginning of migration that would become transitional element at time of migration because of SDP and that also LCWRA would be applied as day 1 because of support group statuses is this information correct and is this something that happens often with managed migration for elements to be missing??

Hi @laurieP I've seen a few posts similar to this recently so I wonder if it's a problem a lot of people are facing. The advice from one of our very knowledgeable members is to raise this, which you have. I'd suggest maybe asking this is escalated if you've not received a response.

Yes you will both automatically be entitled to LCWRA element, although on a couples claim the maximum number of LCWRA elements payable is one.

Transitional Protection is added if your total UC award is lower than legacy benefits, at the time of transfer.

Yes, first statements can be incorrect with bits missing.

LCWRA should be easy enough for them to add once verified with ESA, Transitional Protection can take longer for a special team to calculate as they rely on multiple pieces of information from multiple places to calculate correctly.

Thank you for reply, I will message again Monday via journal to see if they can escalate it as the amount I received was a lot lower than what I was told to expect via benefit checkers, £1053 short to what it should have been they actually paid £18.73

well just got paid my second month of uc last couple of days and still no tp and no breakdown of uc calculations to explain why I haven’t been given tp

jumped all their hoops and attended a job centre appointment beginning of the month to provide several months of evidence of capital & account statements, previous legacy award breakdown and proof that I had done managed migration in time and that all checked out

I don’t know what else I have to do - don’t know if this is pot luck and I just been ultra unlucky but uc was clearly not ready for rollout for those claimants who should be protected by tp

totally livid and stressed (literally pulling out hairs in frustration)

also I’ve had no benefit uprating for the April 4th uc updating either (I think I read something that you don’t get a penny of updating till your 1st uc payment period that start to end is after April 4th?)

Yes, that's correct. UC is calculated in complete assessment periods.

I don't think you'll get a letter about UC increases, unless it's a digital one in the journal. I haven't had one myself. Only the PIP one a few weeks ago.

With regards to TP, mine went through fine around 9 months ago, so it shouldn't be anything to do with the rollout timescale in your case. They may still be calculating your TP now, not completed in time for the latest statement. All you can do is keep bugging them in the journal or by phone until they get it sorted out.

That is exactly how I feel the system is not ready for all these managed migrations its a shambles to be honest, I have only just received first payment ( if you can call it that) I am going to contact journal again tomorrow to see if it can be escalated to include the TP and LCWRA onto my claim ( which I am entitled to) - They have not asked me for any proof of capital etc as of yet so I am hoping they dont come back and say we could not verify your capital to work out TP, I have now involved help to claim team who have said they will do a 3 way telephone call to UC on Tuesday if nothing by then to see what exactly is happening

UC don't do notifications for annual uprating.
